Software & Systems Development

Products engineered to last beyond their first release.

We build production software end to end — from the first architecture sketch to a monitored, maintained system in production. Every engagement is scoped around your business logic, not around a template, so the result fits the way your organisation actually operates and can keep evolving after launch.

Capabilities in this practice

01

Web platforms and portals

Customer portals, booking systems, internal admin platforms and multi-tenant SaaS products built on modern, type-safe web stacks with server-side rendering where it matters for speed and SEO.

02

Mobile and cross-platform apps

Responsive progressive web apps and cross-platform mobile clients sharing a single API layer, so features ship to every device at the same time instead of drifting apart.

03

API design and integration

REST and RPC APIs with versioning, authentication, rate limiting and clear documentation, plus connectors to the ERP, CRM, payment and logistics systems you already run.

04

Legacy modernisation

Incremental replacement of ageing systems: we wrap what still works, migrate the rest module by module, and keep the business running throughout instead of forcing a risky big-bang cutover.

05

Quality and reliability

Automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, staged environments, error tracking and performance budgets so releases are routine rather than an event.

06

Support and evolution

Post-launch maintenance retainers covering dependency updates, security patches, monitoring and a steady stream of product improvements.

A predictable delivery process

01

Discovery

Workshops to map users, processes and constraints, ending in a prioritised backlog and a technical approach.

02

Architecture & design

Data model, system architecture, interface design and a clear definition of the first releasable slice.

03

Iterative build

Two-week increments with working software, review sessions and adjustments based on what you see.

04

Launch & handover

Production deployment, documentation, training and an agreed support model.

Common questions

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. We start with a technical audit covering architecture, dependencies, test coverage and security, then propose a stabilisation and improvement plan before adding features.

Who owns the code?

Subject to full payment, deliverable IP transfers to you as set out in the service agreement. Generic frameworks and internal tooling remain ours and are licensed for your use.

How do you handle changing requirements?

Scope is managed per iteration. Changes are estimated, prioritised with you, and pulled into an upcoming increment rather than silently expanding the current one.
